This here is the list of actresses we made at my birthday get together thingy who we thought would make a good Catwoman in the next Batman movie!

Since the event I shall codename "The Rachel Dawes Incident" which occurred in The Dark Knight has left open a space in Brucey's heart for a new love interest, it can only be assumed that the cat comment Lucious Fox made was foreshadowing to Catwoman making an appearance in the next movie!

At my little birthday get-together, Catwoman somehow came up and we started speculating who would get the role. I mean, we love Michelle Pfeiffer, but I'm sad to say she's just a wee bit old for the part now...

So here is the list that Mandy, Shelly, Caley, Bobby, Jordan, Montree, Angel, Sissy, Mummy and myself put together!

*Jennifer Garner
- So her acting isn't that great... We know she can do action and she's quite the looker ;-)

*Uma Thurman
- Catwoman in a yellow leather biker outfit? Hmmmmmm... We'd have to get over that whole Poison Ivy thing firrst...

*Jessica Alba
- Maybe that little outfit she put on in Chuck and Larry was destiny!

*Helena Bonham Carter
- These new Batman movies have focused on the darker side of Gotham's caped crusader... And we all know Helena can do dark =)

*Brittany Murphy
- She's had some edgy roles and she does have the look.

*Kristin Bell
- She has that dangerous blonde look, but can she pull off the role?

*Alexis Bledel
- A newer, fresher face, but we're not sure if she can pull off anti-hero role either.

*Ali Larter
- Not THE hottest, but she plays a mean crazy blonde ;-)

*Drew Barrymore
- Groovy actress with quite a few movies under her belt. We're pretty sure she could pull off the role even though it is a far cry from most other roles she's played, we just don't know if she can pull off the look.

*Lisa Marie Newmyrer
- Probably the biggest wild card of the group. She hasn't been in much, her most recent roles being in Sin City and A Scanner Darkly. She has an awesome look though and it would be nice to see a fresh face.

9.)*Katherine Heigl
- She's never really played such a deep (yes, we think Catwoman is quite deep) role, but it would be interesting to see her try.

*Gwenyth Paltrow
- We know she can play a blonde bitch and Catwoman does have that bitchiness to her, but does she have the look to really pull it off? And do we really want to see her in another movie? LoL

*Millia Jovovich
- I think she could pull off the role, but how would she look as a blonde? She's been in plenty of action and sci-fi flicks so she could probably click right into the part, but could she really bring enough depth to it?

*Naomi Watts
- Maybe a little old and hasn't really been in a real action flick in a while, but it would be interesting, would it not? She at least has the blonde going for her!

*Eliza Dushku
- Faith as a blonde... In tight leather... With a whip... Strutting her stuff in the back-allies of Gotham... HOT

5.)
*Scarlett Johansen
- She's very pretty, but the last action role she really had was in The Island, which, though quite interesting, was not the best of movies =P She would at least be some yummy Gotham eye candy. ^_^

4.)
*Anne Hathaway
- Okay, I know you're laughing, but just hear us out. She's gorgeous. We know she can act. She can pull off edgy and dark and deep. She's about the right age. She's a pretty big name right now. Why not?

3.)
*Rachel McAdams
- She's had some... Interesting roles. I think it's time she took on something bigger to really put her acting skills to the test! She really does have a classic look and I have a feeling she'd surprise us.

2.)*Charlize Theron
- She was my original thought for the number one, but alas, number one took her place. In my mother's mind, she still is the number one and number one doesn't exit. She's an excellent actress with tons of movies under her belt, and a few great action/sci-fi flicks (Aeon Flux ^_^) to boot! I think she'd make an EXCELLENT Catwoman...

*Daryl Hannah
- Okay, so she's old... And okay, people say she's washed up... But she's aged oh so well, and after her performance in the Kill Bill movies, I think she just screams Catwoman! (Okay, so she's more of a dream pick, but it's our list, not yours! Let us have our fun! Rawr!)





Others that didn't make the list because of age and other stuff:

*Amanda Bynes
- America's sweetheart. I think that kinda kills the Catwoman possibility right there... We still love her though =)

*Paz Vega
- Sizzlin' hot and with lots of flair, spunk and depth... But I dunno if the world is quite ready for the immense hotness of a latina Catwoman.

*Keira Knightley
- She's done some scary shit, but I think she's just a bit too... English...

*Julia Roberts
- I wonder why she wouldn't work... Still a great actress though =P

*Summer Glau
- Amazing as River Tam, but Catwoman actually has emotion...

*Paris Hilton
- "Like, meow... That's hott... Can I have some buttered toast? Whatever..."

*Liv Tyler
- *Orgasm* But I really don't think she's athletic enough...

*Lindsay Lohan
- I'm afraid Catwoman isn't a crackwhore... =)

And of course, we've already been through that Halle Berry mess... She doesn't even get own asterisk! XP
