So now that DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS is burning up my XBox, my thoughts turn to the next glorious RPG video game to occupy the fleeting moments of free time I have.

Killing demons, dragons, trolls and various darkspawn are all quite fun and interesting -- it's truly a wonderful thing to separate a demon from its head in a shower of CGI blood -- but the imagination is only best satiated when death, doom and destruction are rendered against evil aliens, soulless automatons and impertinent humans.

Which means, of course, that only MASS EFFECT 2 will do. BioWare has released some new gameplay vids from the upcoming RPG/shooter, featuring the improved gameplay from that of the first game, but still depicting the "thematic" discussion system that really does make you feel like you are living inside a movie.

ME2 drops on January 26th. Me. Wanty. Now!
