A former therapist and social worker, Jody is a 2006 graduate of UCLA's MFA
Screenwriting Program. His script Paris, the story
of an ass-kicking private detective who’s also gay, achieved semi-finalist status
in the 2003 Scriptapalooza Screenplay Competition as well as being
a top 100 finalist in the 2004 Project Greenlight contest. He's
also a two time Karl David Screenwriting Award winner, honored
in 2005 for his Sci-Fi/Horror themed script Tell Me and in 2006 for his noir-thriller
The Dark Place. He's taught screenwriting, directed short films, developed curriculums
for video game creation instruction, pitched shows and, once upon a time, taught
sex-ed.
Not only does he like love SciFi, Fantasy and Horror, he really loves SciFi, Fantasy
and Horror where the guys kiss the guys. Strangely, he thinks he isn't the only
one.

He also loves SciFi, Fantasy and Horror where the guys kiss the guys and the girls
kiss the girls -- and where the occasional monster/alien/serial killer gets a big
peck on the cheek too. |
James Barnett is an entrepreneur and community activist from Dallas, Texas. At 17,
he created a social networking site for gay teens and young adults called My-Boi.Com,
which resulted in his expulsion from his Christian high school and his outing to
his parents. His situation received international national media attention and Barnett
received several awards for his efforts on behalf of gay youth. Barnett has gone
on to create the web development and marketing firm Pointblanc.
He works with companies that include MetroPCS, GoodYear,
Bluechip Marketing and Evil Penguin Productions.
His proprietary social networking software serves as the basis for Door Q’s

James loves SciFi, Fantasy and Horror, period. He really loves it when he gets kissed. |
