NEWS: CAPRICA ratings continue to fall

CAPRICA ratings down from last week

Just as CAPRICA is getting going, the ratings are doing the same -- they're going away.

TVbytheNumbers.com is reporting that CAPRICA dropped to 1.128 million viewers last Friday, down from 1.411 the week before. The series score a .4 rating for the key 19-49 year old demographic, the most popular with advertisers and the most lucrative.

Friday's episode continued to build tension and explore the strange familiarity of the Colonies, as the Adamas and the Greystones drifted further apart, and the VI intelligences that would come to be the Cylons slipped out and into a very decadent cyber world.

While it's too early to predict the death of this show, it's not too early to start getting worried. We've got a SF series that is not only cool, deep and interesting, but also sports one of the most original gay characters in years.
